APPEAL: Police investigate the incident
POLICE are investigating an incident of vehicle interference that occurred in Kirkby Stephen.
It was reported that the side door of a Land Rover Defender was forced open on South Road at around 10pm on December 2.
Officers are appealing for information on a Volkswagen Passat which was seen with no lights in the area at the time.
Officers have urged with anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to please get in touch.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact PC 2733 on 101, quoting incident number 207 of December 2.
