A majestic new Christmas tree has been erected in a Cumbrian town.
The tree has been placed in front of Penrith Town Hall and has was supplied by Penrith-based forestry specialists A.W. Jenkinson.
A.W. Jenkinson’s Senior Woodfibre Manager, Simon Bullock, said: “A.W. Jenkinson is delighted to donate a Christmas tree for the Town Hall once again.
Hopefully the sight of the tree and its twinkling lights will help lift everyone’s spirits a little after what has been a very challenging time for everyone in Penrith and far beyond.
"We send everyone our warmest wishes for a peaceful Christmas.”
