MULTIPLE roads have seen closures due to flooding following a huge amount of rainfall in the county last night.
There have been areas in south Cumbria where cars have been stranded in water whilst travelling last night.
The latest update of the roads in south Cumbria which have been reported as flooded.
-A683 CLOSED due to flooding between Sedbergh and Kirkby Stephen.
Road closed by Police approx 9am today.
-A592 passable with care between Newby Bridge and Windermere. Previously closed.
-A6070 passable with care due to flooding at Clawthorpe near Burton in Kendal.
The road was blocked earlier this morning.
-A5087 Coast Road (Ulverston to Rampside) reported as closed.
-A596 partially blocked in Waterton due to a flood near the petrol station.
-A69 partially blocked by flood at the S bends between Warwick Bridge and Brampton.
-Abbey Road (Dalton) partially blocked by flooding near Cemetery Hill.
-Greystone Lane (Dalton) impassable near the lake at 16:00 hrs.
-Harry Brow at Hincaster impassable due to flooding.
-Brigsteer Road (Kendal) flooded. *no recent updates*
