A MOUNTAIN rescue team has launched a 2021 calendar to raise much needed funds.
Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team made the announcement on Tuesday.
It features a range of stunning landscape photographs.
A spokesman for the team said: "The theme is the Ullswater valley.
"The images were all created by Team members, supporters or Trustees.
"All proceeds will be going to our New Defender 110 Land Rover Appeal.
"We hope it helps make your 2021 a better year."
The calendar is on sale for £10 plus postage and packing.
For information about, and to buy the calendar go online to: mountainrescue.org.uk/clothing-and-gifts
It will also be available from Glenridding Tourist Information Centre, in Beckside Car Park, and Catstycam outdoor shop, also in the village.
On Sunday the team rescued a woman who had injured her lower leg when walking between Howtown and Pooley Bridge.
Because there was still no access over the bridge at Pooley some team members used a boat to get to the scene.
