A MOUNTAIN rescue team was called out after a 52-year-old woman fell off her E-bike.
Keswick Mountain Rescue Team was called out yesterday (September 12) afternoon to Whinlatter Forest after a woman fell and sustained injuries.
The 52-year-old had fallen from her E-bike on the blue trail in Whinlatter resulting in wrist, back and pelvis injuries.
A spokesman for KMRT said: "The team were able to drive very close to the casualty where she was assessed and given pain relief before being stretchered to the forest track to await the arrival of an ambulance."
Fourteen team members attended the incident, alongside North West Ambulance Service, and were there for 2 hours 25 minutes.
