A MAN has admitted to acting in an abusive manner in a courtroom.
Kendal man Edward Kinsella banged on the glass in the dock at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court and shout abuse at the legal adviser as he was led away to the cells.
He was brought to court after being charged with a string of offences including assault and racially-aggravated harassment.
The 61-year-old, of Capper Close, admitted to wilfully misbehaving in court.
During the hearing, Mr Kinsella, who is Irish, said: “This is British law. This is a farce.”
He pleaded not guilty to six other offences that are alleged to have occurred on May 23.

He is also charged with using threatening words towards Brigitta Harper as well as assaulting her.
The defendant is also charged with non-racially aggravated harassment against the pair. His case was adjourned until August 27.
