ACCUSED: Jardine has been charged with drink-driving
A MAN is due to appear in court accused of causing ABH and drink-driving.
Lee Jardine, of New Hutton in Kendal, is accused of committing the offences in Ambleside on January 11.
The 37-year-old has been charged with assaulting Leah Bennett causing actual bodily harm.
He is also charged with driving a Mercedes in Windermere Road with an alcohol level of 65 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath. The limit is 35mcg.
Jardine will appear at Barrow court on Wednesday.
