A GROUP of super car owners were sent home after being caught in the Lakes.
Cumbria Police have broken up a gathering of super car owners after deciding their activities were non-essential.
10 super cars had to be escorted away from the area and back to the motorway by Police after they were found having a 'car meeting'.
Each motorist was sent home to their respective county.
Cumbria Police said they will continue to monitor the roads and act against non-essential travel during the Covid 19 lockdown.
Cumbria Road Police tweeted: "Having a Super Car Meeting in Cumbria/ Lakes is NOT essential."
