CUMBRIA Wildlife Trust is to celebrate the Osprey - one of the rarest birds in the UK.
Cumbria is home to one of just two Osprey nesting sites in England.
The event is due to take place on April 29 at Windermere hotel, Storrs Hall.
Andrew Nicholson, general manager at Storrs Hall, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be located in an area of such natural beauty and are delighted to announce the Cumbria Wildlife Trust as our chosen charity partner for 2020. The work that they carry out is hugely important in raising environmental awareness and preserving our county’s wildlife, and we look forward to teaching guests more about the rare Ospreys that nest nearby.”
