ONE of the Lake District's best-known country house hotels, Holbeck Ghyll, at Windermere, is up for sale with a guide price of more than £10 million.
The four-star hotel welcomed actress Renée Zellweger in 2006 while filming Miss Potter.
Its restaurant has three AA rosettes under head chef William Dimartino. The house was bought by Lord Lonsdale, the "Yellow Earl", as a hunting lodge in 1888.
