A YOUNG woman who took a tumbling fall and sustained head, facial and neck injuries was rescued by Langdale Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team.
The team was called out on Thursday at 2pm to Stickle Ghyll, Langdale.
The walker was treated by volunteers and evacuated by Coastguard helicopter from Prestwick.
