The carnival stage hosted many singers and dance groups, who performed free of charge to support the occasion. The field was busy with a fairground and many stalls.
The event was sponsored by Burch Tree Vets, and organisers also thanked the many local businesses who helped support the town's biggest annual event.
Carnival chair Andrea Wren thanked the committee for their hard work, dedication and loyalty during the past year as well as the many volunteers including Carnforth Rotary Club, and Carnforth mayor Kath Bromilow for her kind words of praise.
The committee said they believed this was the best carnival since the comeback in 2015 and they are already busy planning for 2020. To find out more, visit the Facebook page or email carnforthcarnival@gmail.com
