The Aldi store in Carnforth is giving away surplus food to a club for vulnerable people
THE Aldi supermarket in Carnforth is giving its surplus groceries to a food club for vulnerable people.
The store is donating perishables such as fresh fruit, vegetables and bread, and long-life items, to the club's venue, Skerton Community Centre in Lancaster.
Any charities who would like to partner an Aldi store are invited to email aldi@neighbourly.com to apply for the scheme.
