A DRIVER who was stopped because their car was not going in a straight line was stopped - and found to be more than double the drink-drive limit, according to police.
Officers from the Cumbria Roads Policing Unit say they stopped a car on the A591 at Ings in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The driver was breathalysed at the scene and blew 74mg/100ml at the roadside and then 79mg and 82mg at the police station.
The driver will appear in court in due course.
