THE campaign to repair the historic clock on Staveley-in-Cartmel’s Grade II listed parish church is £1,000 better off thanks to South Lakes District Councillor Michael Cornah.
Councillor Cornah, who represents Cartmel ward, has used his £1,000 locality budget to support the restoration project.
“The church and its clock are synonymous with our area and I’m delighted to be able to support this important project,” said Cllr Cornah.
