Women and Girls Cricket
Netherfield Cricket Club have been holding free cricket sessions for Women and Girls within the region.
These skills-based sessions give females an opportunity to have fun as well as try the game of cricket in a safe and friendly environment.
Netherfield who are keen to start a Girls Team, are hoping that the classes held at Kendal Leisure Centre will attract interest and greater participation in an evolving sport. The Club hold two sessions on Thursday Night with the younger age groups (8-13) first up between 5.45 and 6-30 before females from 16 + take part between 6.30-7.15.
