A MOUNTAIN rescue team was called out after they received a report that a mountain biker had sustained a suspected dislocated shoulder while on the Kentmere horseshoe.
The incident happened on Saturday at around 12:15pm and when Kendal Mountain Rescue team arrived on the scene an air ambulance had already reached the casualty.
A rescue team member said they recovered the bike and escorted the casualty's biking partner down to Troutbeck park.
Meanwhile Langdale Ambleside Mountain Rescue team were called out after a cyclist fell off his bike on Wynrose Pass.
The incident happened on Sunday at around 10:38am and two team members arrived on the scene to find the man being assisted by a passing doctor.
They assisted with continued care while an ambulance arrived along with two other team members.
The cyclist was immobilised and moved to the ambulance for ongoing treatment and transport.
