Service area closed at Lancaster due to chemical spillage on M6
The service area is closed due to a chemical spillage on the M6 northbound at Lancaster Services.
The M6 services (northbound) at Forton remain closed following an earlier chemical spill for clean up and recovery of the affected vehicle. The motorway itself is open. pic.twitter.com/ltoq6J8g0g

The services are located between J32 and J33.
The cause of the spill has not yet been confirmed but it is understood to have originated in a container being transported by a lorry.
The next available services are Carnforth Services at J35.
