Both races are open to all ages and abilities but children under the age of 11 should be accompanied by an adult for the longer race.
Entries, which also includes a medal and a Santa hat are £5 for adults and children under 16-years-old £3.50.
There will also be mulled wine, hot and cold drinks with lots of festive treats and cakes for sale.
All profits will go to Cartmel Primary School.
