Appleby in the Eden district
COUNCILLORS will meet today to determine Eden District Council's budget for 2018/19 and the proposals before members includes a zero council tax rise, no cuts to services and more funding to support the sustainability of local communities.
Leader Kevin Beaty said the budget the council's executive is placing before members is about helping the pound in people's pockets go as far as it can.
