WINDERMERE is the sixth most 'Instagrammed' site in the UK, according to research undertaken by Expedia.
In 2017, almost 300,000 photos of the famous body of water were posted on Instagram and 25,200 unique hashtags were used.
Big Ben was ranked number one, with 2,737,866 pictures posted on the image sharing platform.
