MILNTHORPE Corinthians routed bottom side Mill Hill St Peters 8-0 in West Lancashire League Division One.
The Cors who are now just one point off top spot ran riot after Zac Clarke scored four goals, while a brace from Mike Rushton and goals by Joe Dickson and Mike Packham rounded off a good all round team performance.
In the other games, Kendal County suffered an agonising 1-0 defeat to Hurst Green at Parkside Road. Liam Dewhurst’s free header after 89 minutes guided the visitors to the top of Division One.
Kendal competed and played well against a strong side with Bailey Carlos causing problems for the visitors defence and while Hurst Green created a lot of chances, County defended well and were close to picking up a much needed point before Dewhurst's late header.
Kendal United continued their climb up the table in West Lancashire League Division Two after a comfortable 4-2 home win against Walney Island. Walney who had a player sent off for deliberate hand ball struggled against a young and talented Kendal United side. Club Captain Bailey Kenny opened the scoring from the penalty spot on the seventh minute.
United made the game safe five minutes into the second half when Greg Pearce drilled the ball home from close range.
From that point the hosts pushed on as Matthew Regan and Lee Mc Neill eased Kendal United into a 4-0 lead before Kieran Solloway and Matthew Lockley scored two late consolation goals for the visitors.
In West Lancashire League Division Three, Milnthorpe Corinthian Reserves lost 3-0 at Thornton Cleveleys A Team. C Bright scored twice while M Duff was also on target.
