A second incident of sheep rustling has been reported in the Settle area.
The incident happened overnight on Friday when a number of pedigree Beltex lambs were stolen from a farm in the Settle area.
Each lamb has a horizontal red stripe painted across its hindquarters and a yellow triangular tag and a lilac triangular tag in the opposite ear.
It follows reports of an incident in the Eldroth/Austwick area where North Yorkshire Police say 12 sheep were reported stolen in the area on Saturday.
