THIRTY-nine new homes are planned for a horse-grazing paddock in Cartmel village.
Holbeck Homes (Cartmel) Ltd is proposing 25 open-market houses and 14 affordable flats and houses on the plot of land south of Haggs Lane.

Plans have been lodged with South Lakeland District Council. According to planning documents, the development would offer a mix of starter and family homes, and it would not detract from Cartmel's Conservation Area.
