SUPERMARKET giant Sainsbury's is planning to open a new out-of-town store at at Shap Road in Kendal by September 2018.
The town already has Morrisons, Asda and Aldi stores on the edge of town, as well as Booths, Iceland, Tesco Express and Marks and Spencer in the town centre.
