HAVE YOUR VOTE: Are there too many traffic lights in our towns?
Recent letters to The Westmorland Gazette have debated whether or not there are too many traffic lights in Kendal.
Some people argue that the number of lights is holding up traffic too much and costing firms money because staff are held up in traffic queues.
Other people argue that reducing traffic lights would affect pedestrians’ ability to cross busy roads safely.
