STORY Homes is proposing to submit a planning application to South Lakeland District Council for around 100 new homes on a site in Endmoor.
Residents adjacent to the site, north of Sycamore Close in the village, and key stakeholders are being asked to comment on the proposals.
The houses, which will include a number of affordable homes, would be built on an area already allocated for housing by SLDC.

“The consultation is an opportunity for the residents of Endmoor to comment and provide feedback on our plans," said David Hayward, development planner for Story Homes. “We believe that our product is appropriate for this site due to the high quality of our houses and also our dedication to building developments which complement the local area, through thoughtful planning and design.”
Following the consultation, Story Homes plans to submit a detailed planning application to the council in the summer.
The Gazette reported last week that Natland-based Oakmere Homes is considering building 50 homes on land off Longmeadow Lane and is also seeking the views of the community.
