A HIGH Bentham woman was over the drink drive limit on her way home after drinking two pints of beer, heard Skipton magistrates.
Jodie Ann Park, 37, was followed by police who had seen her carrying out a U-turn in Low Bentham and weaving along the road in a Volkswagen Golf at about 10.30pm on February 11.
She was stopped in Grasmere Drive and provided a positive roadside breath test. She was taken to the police station where she was found to have 78 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
Park, of Main Street, who admitted drink driving, was currently on a community order for assault, the court was told.
The court heard, in mitigation, she had only been a mile from home, had drunk just two pints, but had had nothing to eat.
She was banned from driving for 20 months and fined £150 with costs of £85 and surcharge of £30. If she completes a drink drivers' rehabilitation course by April next year, her ban will be reduced by 20 weeks.
