A WALKER was airlifted to hospital after suffering a suspected dislocated knee on his way down from Ingleborough yesterday.
The 38-year-old slipped on ice on a steep section of the peak as he headed towards the Old Hill Inn.

Clapham-based Cave Rescue Organisation (CRO) received a call at 1.50pm and went to his aid, administering pain relief before moving him by stretcher to flatter ground at Humphrey Bottom.
A CRO spokesman said: "A North West air ambulance was able to land and take the casualty to hospital for treatment."
