Today's Westmorland Gazette includes a special 16-page pull-out supplement to mark one year since the devastatiing floods that hit the South Lakes and Eden areas during Storm Desmond.
The supplement - Battling Back From The Floods - recalls in words and pictures the horrors of that weekend, which affected so many people, but also focuses on the way individuals and businesses have bounced back.
It highlights the amazing community spirit shown throughout the area, as people helped out those who had been affected.
And it recalls the fantastic work of the emergency services and other agencies in responding to the floods.
Today's edition also looks in detail at whether the area is better prepared should such torrential downpours hit the area again in future.
The Westmorland Gazette is out today - don't miss it.
