A 20-year-old man has died after an incident at Malham Cove on Saturday.
His body was recovered from the bottom of the limestone cliff by Clapham-based Cave Rescue Organisation following a call out for assistance from North Yorkshire Police.
A police spokesman said: "Police attended Malham Cove at about 10pm on Saturday, November 26, where officers located the body of a man from the Hampshire area.
"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death."

A CRO spokesman said members were called out by police to help recover the body of a male at 23.11pm on Saturday.
They then carried the body to a team Land Rover for transport down to Malham village.
The team then carried out a small-scale search at the top of the cove which resulted in the recovery of possessions which were handed over to the police.
