The first snow fall of winter has fallen in the Craven area.
There are no reports of any serious incidents on the roads, and no schools are reported closed by North Yorkshire County Council.

One of the highest roads in the area, the B6255 Newby Head Pass from Ingleton to Hawes was reported to have three inches of snow, but was said to be passable with care.
