Sheep on show at last year's Hawksshead Show
TOMORROW'S Hawkshead Show has been cancelled after the recent heavy rain.
On their website the show organisers state: "Due to heavy rain our committee has decided that it would not be safe for competitors and the public for the show to go ahead."

The event had been due to be held at Hawkshead Hall Farm and would have featured horse classes, ranging from the minatures to the heavy horses, private driving (horse and small carriage) and jumping classes.
There were due to be sheep, cattle and dogs classes plus horticultural exhibits, including home produce, flowers, vegetables, arts and crafts.
The show was also due to have featured hound trails and more than 50 trade stands.
