A 16-YEAR-OLD was sexually assaulted in Kendal last Monday (April 18), police have said.

The incident occurred on Middle Hill at around 6pm, when a man thought to be in his early thirties followed the girl on her way home and touched her buttocks without her consent.

Police have described the man as white, 5 foot 7 inches tall, of an average build and with short dark hair and slight stubble.

He also had a scar or mark in-between his eyebrows and was wearing all black clothing, including black tracksuit bottoms.
