POLICE are making enquiries after a pet cat was found shot dead in a bush.
A domesticated Norwegian Forest cat was shot in the Howgill area on Sunday, April 17.
It is believed the offender was driving in the area and left their vehicle and shot the cat in a hedge and drove off. This breed of cat is very rare and very easily recognisable.
