Gardeners, those with allotments and growers are being urged to attend a Beanpole Day at Burneside on Sunday (April 10).
There will be beanpoles, peasticks, plant supports, fencing, benches, hazel and willow - all grown locally - for sale.
People are encouraged to bring along their excess seedlings for a plant swap.
The event, from noon to 4.30pm, is being held at Sprint Mill, home of Edward Acland and will include teas and a guided walk at 3pm.
