MAN to beat John McGuinness reckons the magical 130mph average speed barrier will be shattered at the TT this year.
The Heysham hero has been in stunning form in practice and scorched around the 37.73 Isle of Man circuit with an average speed of 129.451mph on Thursday night.
And he believes that, if conditions hold, that magical 130mph will be beaten in the Centenary series.
"If the conditions are good, the 130mph lap will be broken," he says. "It is going to happen and I will just be concentrating on enjoying it."
McGuinness lapped at 129.08mph on Thursday, with Guy Martin second on 128.16, Ian Lougher next at 128.14 then Ian Hutchinson and Martin Finnegan.
McGuinness adds: "There is pressure but once you put your helmet on it is me, the bike and the road - and it will take a good man to beat me."
The final practice session takes place on Friday evening with the first race on Saturday.
