A FOUR-year-old girl from Windermere has donated her hair to a charity that makes wigs for children with cancer.
Phoebe Boden, a pupil at St Martin & St Mary C of E Primary School, decided to go for the chop after seeing a TV programme featuring children who had lost their hair due to illness.
Mum Sarah said: “She said, ‘That’s not fair – I’ve got all this hair and some people don’t have any,’ so when we found out about the Little Princess Trust she said she would donate it to them.”
Phoebe is also raising money so a wig can be bought for another child, and beat her £350 target in 48 hours.
