A MAN was taken to hospital after allegedly being assaulted in an Ulverston town centre pub on Bank Holiday Monday.
The 46-year-old from Blackpool suffered head injuries in the alleged incident at the Rose and Crown in King Street at about 9.15pm.
Two men, both from Ulverston, aged 26 and 58, were arrested by police on suspicion on grievous bodily harm.
