RACE-goers who defied the poor Bank Holiday weather forecasts were treated to a "fantastic" weekend of racing at Cartmel, according to organisers.
Thousands of people attended racing on Saturday and Monday, and attractions included a Robbie Williams tribute act and a new ladies' night.
Racing continues today (Wednesday), with the first at 2.20pm.
