A LAKE District hostel is offering half-price overnight stays to Cumbrians thanks to a flood relief grant from Cumbria County Council.
Flood damage forced the independent Derwentwater Hostel at Keswick to close in December and January, but it is now described as looking "smarter than ever".
The 50 per cent off deal is being offered on one or two-night stays until all the grant money has been used up. It is open to any Cumbrian residents, whether or not they were themselves flooded.
