NETWORK rail bosses have had their bonuses cut by 63 per cent as a direct result of the Grayrigg train crash in February. The company, which owns and operates Britain's rail network, announced its results from the financial year 2006/07 yesterday (May 24), revealing it had made pre-tax profits of £1.48bn. But because of the costs incurred by the Grayrigg tragedy and the effect on the company's overall performance, bonuses for all Network Rail employees were cut.
