A YOUNG girl described as vivacious, "full of life" and popular at school, has tragically died aged just 12.
Elisha Jackson, of Askam-in-Furness, suffered a brain haemorrhage on Thursday at Pendlebury Children's Hospital in Manchester.
Lively Elisha, a pupil at Dowdales School in Dalton, had been diagnosed with a blood disorder, but had continued to make the most of her life.
Her mother, Lesley Garstang, said: "She had been so well, so active and was so into her sport. It was such a massive shock. It has been absolutely horrendous."
