VISITORS to Sawrey can witness a legendary battle between good and evil when the Sawrey Cunsey and Graythwaite May Fair is held at Graythwaite Hall, Far Sawrey, at 4pm. The fair will feature the re-enactment of St George's battle to save a fair maiden from a dragon. The fair begins with a parade from Market Street, New Sawrey, to Braithwaite Hall at 2pm.
