SCENES from one of the most famous romantic movies of all time will be brought to life at a north Lancashire train station this summer.
The Theatre of the Dales will be producing free half-hour performances of Noel Coward's Brief Encounter at Carnforth station - which is famous as the setting for some of the scenes of David Lean's 1945 classic movie.
The performances take place in the station's Brief Encounter Café on August 20 at 2.30pm and 4pm. For details, telephone 0113-2740461.
