Garry Thompson lived the dream after Morecambe stormed into the Football League via the drama and delight of the Conference play-off final at Wembley.
The Kendal cracker scored the first goal and then provided the pass for Danny Carlton's killer second as the Shrimps stormed past Exeter City.
"It's a dream come true," smiles Thompson. "It is great to score at Wembley - but it is even better to win and get promoted. It's great."
The win means the sensational Shrimps will play in the Football League next season and Thierry' Thommo reckons they can prosper in the elite.
"Obviously we are not going to get carried away but we have players here who can do a job in League Two," he says.
"It's a great feeling."
