LANCASTER University is running its annual creative writing celebration week from Saturday, June 16, to Friday, June 22. The week is open to all, whether someone is new to writing or has some experience.

There is a range of short courses and workshops, all taught by experienced local writers who are enthusiastic about helping others to get started and develop their skills.

The programme of two-day courses includes writing for performance and screenwriting, writing poetry, novels and short stories. There are also courses on writing fiction for children and gothic writing.
