JOHN McGuinness will be cheered on by huge crowds as excitement ahead of the Isle of Man TTs reaches fever pitch.

Tickets for the grandstand sold out within four weeks of going on sale for the Senior TT and seats for the practice and race sessions are also going fast.

Tens of thousands of fans are set to descend on the road racing capital of the world for the two-week celebration of 100 years of the ultimate motorcycle competition around the legendary 37-mile Mountain Circuit.

The stand, which holds just 750 fans, offers amazing views through the straight and towards Bray Hill, where McGuinness is so good.

A spokesman says: "It is shaping up to be a memorable year."
