TWO men who died in a head on collision on the A65 at Austwick have been named by police.
Thirty-five-year-old Andrew Edmondson from Duke Street, Settle and William Thomas Crompton,37, of Mill Close, Settle, died in the crash which happened at around 11.10am on Tuesday (May 8).
The men had been travelling in a black BMW toward Ingleton from Skipton, when their vehicle was in collision with a blue Audi hatchback, travelling in the opposite direction.
The BMW then hit a white Vauxhall van, which was also travelling towards Skipton.
The two men in the van were taken to hospital with minor injuries and the driver of the Audi was uninjured.
The A65 was left closed for several hours following the crash.
