EVERYTHING is coming up roses for a flourishing South Lakeland nursery that is celebrating after scooping a top award.
Cath's Garden Plants picked up a premier medal at the Harrogate Spring Flower Show, held at the Yorkshire Showground.
It is the latest - and most prestigious - in a growing crop of prizes reaped by the family-run nursery, based in the one-acre walled garden at the Heaves Hotel, next to Sizergh Castle, near Kendal.
A delighted Cath Sanderson, who has run the business selling plants to the public since 2000, said: "We have never been awarded this medal before but did achieve gold medals at both the Harrogate Spring and Autumn shows for the first time last year.
